We have no intention to stop working hard on big, bold, and progressive solutions. To do this, we need you to share your ambitious ideas with us at “Re-Fresh, Re-New, Re-enVISION” on Sunday April 8th.
"Re-Fresh, Re-New, Re-enVISION" is a half-day community dialogue where our members will come together to discuss some of Vancouver's biggest challenges - affordability, equity, transportation, climate change - and listen to each others solutions.
We have heard from Vancouverites that they want to see some changes in our city. We want to hear directly from you about the concerns that need to be addressed and the policies you want to see moving forward.
Our goal: to have community members discuss, debate, and put forward new ideas for Vancouver's future. These will be ideas that Vision Vancouver’s next representatives will campaign on for you. On Sunday, April 8th, we're having that conversation - and we want you there.
We need to build on our progressive agenda and put forward new ideas to address the challenges that face our city. Together, we've made big progress in the past ten years - now let's talk about what's next. We hope you'll join the conversation to share your vision at 'Re-Fresh, Re-New, Re-enVISION'
This event is open to Vision Vancouver members. Memberships can be purchased at the door for $10.

Gregor Robertson and your Vision team took office almost two years ago and have fought hard to make this city a better place to live for everyone. We’re working hard for a better tomorrow and to build on the progress we’ve made - much at which will be at stake if we don’t continue this work together.
Two years ago, Vancouverites re-elected Mayor Gregor Robertson and a strong team of Vision Vancouver Councillors, School Trustees, and Park Commissioner. Since then, we've been working hard to move our city forward with strong leadership and progressive values.
We’ve accomplished much together – from enacting a Living Wage policy, to our school trustees’ principled stance defending public education, to increased investments in arts and culture, to our bold new measures on housing affordability – we’re delivering on our promises and fighting to make our city even stronger.
It’s time to come together and celebrate our shared accomplishments!
Please RSVP for our upcoming Fall Gala. It’s an opportunity to connect with other Vision supporters, share a meal, and hear directly from Mayor Robertson about our party’s priorities before the 2018 municipal election.

Town Hall with Andrea Reimer: Vancouver's leadership on sustainability, efficiency and social equality
In the last six months alone, representatives from the City of Vancouver have participated in important conversations at the Vatican, the United Nations, and the White House - and now the world is truly coming together to take action in Paris to combat climate change and create a more sustainable and equitable society.
Building on the successes of the Greenest City 2020 Action Plan and the City's new commitment to 100% Renewable Energy by 2050, Vancouver's leadership and innovation have helped to shape and inspire how other cities and governments around the world are taking action to create a more sustainable, and equitable society.
Join Councillor Andrea Reimer to discuss Vancouver's leadership on sustainability, efficiency and social equality.

The marches are taking place in advance of the pivotal COP21 international climate summit opening in Paris, France on November 30th. Mayor Gregor Robertson and Councilor Raymond Louie will be representing the City of Vancouver at the summit.
Vancouver is at the forefront of global efforts to limit and adapt to climate change. Our city is a leading example of how to build a just, green, and resilient economy. A strong global treaty signed at COP21 will bolster our efforts here in Vancouver.
Climate change is undoubtedly a massive challenge, but we can and must face it with hope, not fear. Together, we can remind our federal and provincial leaders that Vancouverites support bold action, an ambitious and fair global agreement, and compassion and support for those impacted by climate change.
The climate march in Vancouver and those scheduled for cities and town all around the world have taken on a new significance following the tragic terror attacks in Paris. Given security concerns the French government has announced that marches on the streets of Paris will not go forward. This decision means that it's even more important that we, as global citizens, demonstrate on behalf of those who can't.
Because of the importance of this moment Vision Vancouver will be marching on November 29th to show our support for a strong global treaty. Will you join us at the Global Climate March?
If 50 people commit to marching with Vision Vancouver on November 29th, we'll also bring signs and a photographer to the march. RSVP below to march with Vision Vancouver at the Global Climate March.
If you can't make it, click here to sign up for occasional updates about future events and announcements related to climate action, renewable energy, and green jobs.

SFU Wosk Centre for Dialogue - Lower ConcourseTownhall with Raymond Louie | Federal Investment in Cities and Vancouver's National Leadership
With over 81% of Canadians now living in urban centres, our major cities are the economic engines of this country.
With only a few weeks left in the 2015 Federal election, cities need to be front and centre as a defining part of this campaign. We need to see major investments in infrastructure and social programs to continue to support cities as the major economic centres of 21st century Canada.
Hosted by Councillor Raymond Louie (who also serves as President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities), Vision Vancouver invites you to an open town hall discussion on the importance of Federal investments in our city, and to share your thoughts on what we should continue to be advocating for from our federal government.
Joining Councillor Louie will be a panel of local youth, who will provide their perspectives on why these issues are not just important to them this election, but why these issues are important for the future they want to see for their city.
