Green City

"There is no reason why Vancouver cannot be the greenest city in the world. Our citizens have the talent, the expertise, and the drive to make Vancouver an environmental leader. It’s time to ditch the green-washing and get moving on a real commitment to sustainability.”

Gregor Robertson

People recognize the risks facing our environment and are demanding leadership on this issue at City Hall.  Vision Vancouver has fought for the full implementation of the Community Climate Change Plan, launched a Greenest City Action Team, pushed for greater energy efficiency in city buildings, and is working to reduce waste from city facilities. Gregor Robertson and the Vision team will build on their commitments and make Vancouver the greenest city in the world.
