Vision at Vaisakhi

The annual Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade is quickly approaching on Saturday, April 16. Thousands of people come out to the parade to celebrate the holiest day on the Sikh calendar.  Vaisakhi day marks the harvest festival and the New Solar Year, and it is also the anniversary of one of Sikhism's most important events, the establishment of Khalsa in 1699.

On Saturday, Vision will be distributing balloons and treats to people in the parade throughout the day from our booth. You can find the Vision booth on Main St. between and 49th and 51st Avenue. Stop by for and chat with our elected officals!
