Daniela’s career has been driven by a sense of responsibility to create a better, fairer, more diverse and inclusive world. 

An experienced communications professional, Daniela has helped local community-building organizations broaden their reach and impact. Politically active, Daniela has also worked as advisor to high-profile political leaders at all levels of government. 

Daniela is an immigrant to Canada and a proud Vancouverite, adopted by the city in 2011. From the moment she arrived in the West End with her partner, she was struck by the commitment of the Vision-led City Council to make smart infrastructure investments, to lead the battle against climate change, and to create a vibrant local economy and an inclusive city for everyone.

In her spare time, Daniela can be found riding her bike, yelling at a TV during a soccer match, or having a pint on Davie street.
